Outdoor Pizza Oven Installation in Toronto and the GTA
A good pizza oven turns a backyard into the place everyone wants to be on a Saturday night.

Pizza ovens are heavy, hot and fussy about where they sit. A wood-fired oven can weigh far more than a grill, needs a base that will carry it without settling, and throws enough heat that what surrounds it matters.
We install wood-fired, gas and dual-fuel ovens, either as a standalone feature or built into an outdoor kitchen. That means a structural base, the clearances and chimney height the manufacturer calls for, and a hearth landing where you can rest the peel and slice.
We also think about smoke. A chimney that sends smoke across the patio or into a neighbour's window will get used less, so oven placement is decided with the wind and the seating plan in mind.

Flue, chimney height and clearances to combustibles installed to the manufacturer's requirements.

What to plan for
Under a roof needs extra care
Putting an oven under a pavilion or pergola is possible, but the chimney, clearances and ceiling materials have to be planned for it. Some municipalities and insurers have their own views on wood burning, so we check early.
Winter use
Many ovens can be used year round. Moisture is the enemy, so a cover and slow warm-up after the oven has sat cold help prevent cracking.
FAQ
Outdoor pizza ovens: common questions
Wood-fired or gas pizza oven: which is better?
Wood gives the flavour and the ritual. Gas heats faster, is easier to control and leaves nothing to clean. Dual-fuel ovens give you both. We usually suggest gas or dual-fuel for people who want to cook on weeknights.
Can a pizza oven go on an existing patio?
Sometimes. It depends on the oven's weight and what is under the patio. Many patios are not built to carry a masonry oven, so we often add a dedicated footing.
How long does a pizza oven take to heat up?
Gas ovens are often ready in well under an hour. Wood-fired ovens usually need longer to fully heat the dome and floor. The exact time depends on the oven's size and construction.
