FAQ
Water Features and Fountains: common questions
How much does a custom fountain or water feature cost?
Cost depends on size, stone, pumps and lighting. We provide a fixed price after a site visit, with good, better and best options so you can compare finishes and features.
How do you winterize a fountain in Ontario?
Before the first hard freeze we drain or lower water levels, remove and store pumps where needed, blow out lines and protect stone. Our Fountain Care plan schedules this automatically every fall and reopens the feature in spring.
Are water features high maintenance?
A well-designed feature needs very little attention. Proper filtration, circulation and seasonal servicing keep water clear and equipment running.
Can a water feature be added to an existing landscape?
Yes. We design around existing patios, planting and grades, and protect your property during installation.
Do water features attract mosquitoes?
Moving, circulated water does not suit mosquito breeding. We design features to keep water moving.
