Kitchen Renovations

Custom kitchen cabinets in Toronto and the GTA

Cabinets are most of what you see and almost everything you touch, so we design them first.

Design concept

Good cabinetry starts with an inventory, not a catalogue. We ask what you cook, what you own, where the small appliances live and what drives you crazy about your current kitchen. Then we size drawers, pull-outs and tall storage around those answers.

Custom cabinets let us fit the room exactly. No filler strips hiding a gap, no dead corner, no upper cabinet that stops six inches short of the ceiling for no reason. Panels can cover the fridge and dishwasher so the kitchen reads as furniture.

We draw every elevation in 3D with the real door style and finish, so you approve exactly what gets built.

Before you build

What to plan for

  • Painted versus wood finishes

Painted doors look crisp but show chips on high-traffic edges over time. Stained or natural wood hides wear better. We help you choose based on how hard the kitchen gets used.

  • Lead times shape the schedule

Custom cabinetry is built to order and is usually the longest lead item in a kitchen. We place the order once drawings are signed so it arrives when the room is ready.

FAQ

Custom kitchen cabinets: common questions

Are custom cabinets worth it over stock cabinets?

If the room has odd dimensions, tall ceilings or specific storage needs, usually yes. Custom cabinets fill the space properly and are sized for what you store. In a simple, standard room, semi-custom can be a sensible middle ground.

How long do custom kitchen cabinets take?

They are built to order, so allow several weeks after drawings are approved. We order during design to keep that time off your construction schedule.

Can you match cabinets to my existing millwork?

Often, yes. We bring finish samples to the house and compare them in your light before anything is made.
